As Southern California continues to grow, so do the necessity for our precious National Forest. The state has recently implemented a pilot program, the Adventure Pass in order to aquire more funds for the upkeep of these areas. It is a very small price to pay for what these lands have to offer us. Daily pass $5 or Annual pass $30 can be purchased at various locations: ranger stations, some local mountain markets or various sporting goods stores .

Angeles National Forest
Cleveland National Forest
Los Padres National Forest
San Bernardino National ForestForest Service Maps are highly advised for these areas.There are many dirt roads & trails in order to get to some of these great camp spots. NFS Maps can be purchased at most ranger stations, online, map/travel store or a local sporting goods retailer .
