California SR 140 is El Portal Road, which leads into Yosemite. This cute 1950's market is no longer, but it's a nice memory to show. Located just outside the National Park gate, this river canyon has impressive granite walls towering above the Merced River. Cannot miss the huge motel lodge w/ swimming pool - right at the highway.
