This town is located in the heart of the El Dorado Wine Country. The town is little more than a peaceful community of homes & a hardware store. The Fairplay Bistro & Market was posted 'coming 2002' (or later, as we assume). These two small landmarks make up the central area of town. This seems to stay true to the simple, quiet feel of warm wine country that surrounds the town.
