This beautiful small Sierra downtown was recently destroyed by wildfire in August 2021 (Dixie Fire). Cleanup is on-going and rebuilding will take decades. Indian Valley is one of many beautiful Sierra meadows within California. Granite backbone of mid to high elevation forests and lakes in the North Sierra. River fishing, lake fishing, golfing, hiking, biking, awesome back roads, forests camping nearby. Restaurant, hotel and shopping can be found in downtown. Mountain bike races and much more. The massive Lake Almanor is due north, along the Feather River.
