Sierra Highway 4 (Ebbett's Pass) narrows to one lane in many places. There are a few Bear Valley's in the state of California. This 'Bear Valley' is famous for it's snow skiing & located in the High Sierra back country, on the winding Hwy 4 in the middle of Stanislaus National Forest, surrounded by wilderness all the way around. An outdoors enthusiast playground for backpacking, camping, fishing, horseback riding, off-roading, kayaking, mountain biking, snow mobiling, you name it.
