Perfect time to visit the
Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest - Inyo National Forest

Hiking to waterfalls & enjoying the warm temperatures, by jumping in the cool waters & refreshing yourself is one way to wake your soul up. Jet ski on a lake in the mountains, rent a house boat on the California Delta or at the Colorado River, horseback ride in the Sierras, enjoy a day hike to a local mountain peak. Camping anywhere but the deserts or central valley (baking zones) should be very pleasant. Get out, enjoy nature & do something with your summer... before it's too late.

Beat the heat & head for the hills. There is plenty snow melts coming down them mountains. The lakes and resrvoirs are at maximum capacity. The rivers & streams should be flowing all summer long, so get out and enjoy them.

Sick of tourists traps & crowds? Join Total Escape on monthly guided road trips in California & Baja. Off the Beaten Path. Unheard-of Super Cool places!
