Coastal Highway 101 starts in downtown Los Angeles & bolts up the Central California coast, winding though San Luis Obispo, then heading straight thru the middle of San Francisco. Passing through the wine country it then aims for North Coast Redwoods. This is a major 4 lane thoroughfare up and down the impressive California coastline.
