On a clear (non smoggy) day the view to the east to the San Bernardino Mountains is spectacular. Winter can blanket the ranges with snow and with wildflowers blooming in early Spring, this can be the perfect picnic in the meadows - all within a hours drive from the popular urban areas of the OC and Inland Empire.
