Orange County Coastline has the best camping near the Los Angeles region (without needing to smell the oil refineries). Ventura and\u00a0Santa Barbara, both north of L.A. also have excellent camping beaches.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">blue links lead to State Park pages with camp reservations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/totalescape.com\/GIFS\/signs\/symbols\/calsp.gif\" alt=\"State Park\" width=\"32\" height=\"28\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>SoCal Camping<\/h2>\n<p>Sunny and near perfect temperatures all year long, Southern California seriously pulls in the tourists. L.A. is a major metropolis city right next to the Pacific Ocean. With 22 million people residing in Southern California, and millions of visitors annually, this region is pretty busy all the time &#8211; even in winter months.
