Total Escape is California, off the beaten path
Coastal redwood groves, historic bridges, cabins, campgrounds and museums are burning. Recent wildfires have destroyed homes, displaced thousands, and taken lives. It is more than obvious that the extreme weather, the parched land and our world is changing, rapidly. In California, we now oscillate between drought and deluge. Wildfires, wilderness, with historic lightning and millions of acres of overgrown forests. We need to rethink how we manage our time, our forests - and our precious firewood. Nelson Creek Bridge
(built in 1890), Bullfrog Pond Campground
@ Austin Creek. Parks and forests with wildfires burning.
