Redwood National Park does not allow open car camping (primitive or dispersed) on back roads.
Two hike in campgrounds are available on coastal cliffs; see above.
USFS: National Forest lands border to the east side of Park. Find your way out to the dirt road - Bald Hills Road for views above the fog, outside the park and on the ridge line w/ pine forest. Abundant clearings and good dirt road camping w/ a campfire permit.
