If you prefer extreme, wild places, plus don't mind camping with a fair amount of noise, sand, and can stand the crowds, this just may be your party spot. Toy box haulers, dune buggies, sand rails, quads, 4x4s and SUVs - always have too much fun here.

Sand dune beach area with Off Highway Vehicle use. No trees, no picnic tables, no grassy lawns. Flat fee for day use or overnight camping. Big plus is that this is one of the only places in California where you can actually drive and camp on the sandy shoreline with your vehicle. 2WD vehicles should stay close to hard packed sand at waters edge when driving. RVs need to avoid the deep sand and camp just above high tide mark.
