Infamous Klamath River, is the Steelhead Capital of the World. Happy Camp California, the Klamath River is the spot to be. River rafting, fishing, kayaking, camping, hiking. This is the remote, rural, river recreation area of Northern California. HappyCamp is as far away from a big town as you can get. The small town itself is not very impressive, but the surrounding areas are total wilderness, rivers, creeks & perfect for outdoor folks wanting to really escape the mainstream.

description:
small community on the Klamath River. Way outta the way spot for avid fishermen & outdoor lovers. The access is long & winding river highway. Rock slides are quite common. May as well stay a few days and enjoy the scenery. Town is not much to look at here, so focus on the river and creeks.
