Highway 70 is designated Scenic Route. The Feather River Canyon Route is the least steep of any mountain grade on a transcontinental railroad. Historic train trestle junction with highway bridge - set of steel bridges known as the Tobin Bridges.
Tobin is more of a bridge intersection than a town. Only a few homes exist in this stretch of the canyon, no services or businesses.
