campfire restrictions statewide
camping without a campfire
California has alert level campfire restrictions in place for this summer, with high wildfire dangers looming in the extreme drought ridden golden state. Campfires are ONLY allowed in developed campgrounds throughout California's National Forests, State Park and National Parks. No backcountry fires allowed south of Mount Lassen, whether it be car camping or backpacking.
