This amazing view is taken from the Eastern border of Kings Canyon National Park, on the Kearsarge Pass. A healthy day hike from the parking lot at Onion Valley (9000' elevation) to the Pass at 11,000'. Elevations in this park range from oak lands at 3000' to steep mountain peaks of 13,000'
