The Feather River Canyon (East Branch of the North Fork to be precise) run thru this Northern Sierra canyon of Hwy 70. Twain California, also known as Twain City, CA is not to be confused with the more Southern Sierra town of Twain Harte - in the Historic Gold Country. This Twain is located near Quincy with prime fishing, hiking and camping.

RV park, post office & general store serve this locale. Feather River Hot Springs located nearby. Railroad runs the length of the canyon, so expect noises, as well as nature. This is a major trucking route, so you will hear some traffic if camping near here.
